London School of Hairdressing and Aesthetics は、1980年にMandy Constable さんによって設立されました。Mandy さんはイギリスのロンドンでトレーニングを受けたヘアスタイリストで1980年の時点では既に15年以上もプロの経歴を積んでいました。彼女がLondon School of Hairdressing and Aesthetics を設立した理由は、バンクーバーでヘアスタイリストになりたい人達のための学校があまりなかったことでした。London School of Hairdressing and Aesthetics 設立当初は、フルタイムのヘアスタイリストのプログラムだけを提供していましたが、今日ではエステとネールプログラムも提供しています。どのLondon School of Hairdressing and Aesthetics のプログラムもフルタイムか晩のパートタイムが提供されているのでとても通いやすい学校です。

1980年にLondon School of Hairdressing and Aesthetics 設立当時は、Mandy さんはへースティング通りで6人のフルタイムのヘアスタイリングの生徒に教えていました。London School of Hairdressing and Aesthetics のスペースは1,500 sq. ft. で一人で校長と教師を両方兼ねていました。しかし、1983年になってからもう2人の先生が必要になりMartin Constable さんがLondon School of Hairdressing and Aesthetics の校長に就任しました。今日では毎年平均100人以上の生徒を扱い、4人の先生を雇い、歴史的ね蒸気時計で有名なガスタウンに5,000 sq. ft. のスペースでLondon School of Hairdressing and Aesthetics を経営しています。
